How we're building Alisi Market

We're opening in stages, starting with farmers

We're building the founding farmer network first — once we have enough verified supply in a region, we open contractor collection, then buyer ordering for that region. One traceable chain, rolled out deliberately rather than all at once.

Buyers — join the waitlist

Buyer ordering opens once farmer supply and contractor collection are in place for a region. Leave your email and we'll notify you the moment it's live.

Process

From farm gate to your door

A straightforward chain of custody with verified provenance at every handoff — matched, collected, and delivered by Alisi Market.

1

Farmer lists, buyer orders

Verified farmers list available produce; buyers browse and place an order. Every listing is tied to a specific farm and batch ID.

2

Contractor collects & delivers

A vetted contractor with a suitable vehicle accepts the job, collects at the farm gate, and delivers to the buyer or sort hub — logging pickup and drop-off against the batch.

3

Verify on arrival

Every batch carries a printed origin ID. Enter it here to see the farmer, collection date, contractor handoff, and quality grade — live from the Alisi batch database.

FAQs

Common questions

Every farmer on Alisi Market is verified before their first listing goes live — a Field Coordinator confirms the farm, growing region, and typical produce in person or by phone. Once verified, a batch ID is created at every collection so buyers can trace any shipment back to that farm.

Contractors apply with their vehicle details, driving licence, and insurance. Our team verifies these documents before onboarding, and drivers only take on jobs matched to their vehicle type and coverage area.

No — anyone can browse current availability and verify a batch ID without an account. Placing an order or listing produce as a farmer requires registering.

Sourcing currently covers Kenya, supplying buyers across Europe, the Middle East, and Asia. We're expanding our verified farmer and contractor network county by county within Kenya.

Once an order is confirmed, a vetted contractor is matched to the job and collects directly from the farm gate on an agreed date, then delivers to the buyer or one of our sort hubs — logging the handoff against the batch ID.
